Terms and conditions

In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:

1. Definitions

“Company” or “we” means The Kensington hotel and all staff affiliated with the Hotel ( 17 East Parade, Rhyl, LL18 3AG )

“Booking” means the booking for accommodation, functions and/or any other services or items made with us.

“Contract” means the Booking and these Terms, and any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the Booking.

“Hotel” means the premises for which your Booking is made.

“Terms” means these terms and conditions.

“Websites” means www.kensingtonhotelrhyl.com or any other website owned or operated by us.

“VAT” means value added tax.

“Several” means for more than 3 hours  

2. Bookings / Cancelations

The Kensington Hotel takes bookings via Phone or E-mail. All online transactions are taken care off via a 3rd party (BOOKING.COM)

Booking multiple rooms. If you would like to book multiple rooms, we do require a deposit of the first night’s stay which is non-refundable.

The Kensington Hotel asks that you Give 24-Hour notice prior to cancelation, or change to booking. In the event that you do not give 24 hours’ notice and do not turn up, we will charge for the first night’s stay but will Refund the remaining night’s.

Booking.com.

Booking.com has their own Term’s & Conditions that we have no control over. There cancelations policy is put in place though them and cannot be influenced in any way by us.

3. Charges

All Prices are clearly stated on Booking.com, our website, in the main reception and will be re-confirmed if you pay at the hotel before you check in. (As stated before Booking.com is a 3rd party and have their own system in place)

The prices are non-inclusive of Breakfast unless otherwise stated. 

4. Check-in/ Check-out Time

When checking in we do require to see some form of I.D. and require you to sign in.

Check in time is from 2:00pm and we ask that you vacate your room by 10:30 am on the morning of your departure.

If you need more flexible hours, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you.

If you do not vacate your room by this time you may be charged another night’s stay.

5. Payment

 We accept all major Credit and debit cards.
no monies will be taken until you book in to the hotel (unless no-show then please see 2-Bokkings/cancelations)

All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the Hotel

6. Changes or Cancellation by the Company

Very rarely we may need to cancel your Booking.  In such circumstances you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation.  We will, however, use reasonable endeavours to try and re-locate any confirmed Booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard to the Hotel.

Your booking is for a class of room in the Hotel and does not guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room or in the same room for the duration of your stay.  If we need to move you to a different room during your booking for which a lower rate is available than the rate you booked at, we will refund you the difference in the rates.

7. Damage

We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.

8. Accessibility

We do not offer rooms that cater to specific requirements however if there is anything we can do we are more than happy to help.

Please contact our phone number ( 01745 331868 ) to discuss specific individual requirements and the availability of appropriate accommodation, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

9. Parking

Where a Hotel has its own car park, there may be limited spaces available and space may not be available for the duration of your stay. Terms and conditions may also apply to car park use.  Please contact the Hotel directly for more information. Cars and their contents are left at the owner’s/customer’s own risk. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage.

10. Hotel Events

11. We also cater to social housing schemes in the North Wales area, which if you may feel would be an intrusion on your break.  Please contact the Hotel directly in advance of your stay for further information.

12. No Smoking

Guests are not permitted to smoke in rooms or public areas.

13. Children

Children are welcome to the hotel but we do ask children under 16 are supervised

We do supply cots, on request but we do not supply linen for the cots.

14. Guest Behaviour

Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Company procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety.  Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff.  We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred. And will Prosecute

15. Pets

Guide dogs and small dogs are accepted with prior arrangement.

16. Personal Information

All personal information is kept as long as necessary and is disposed of in a secure environment

17. Limitation of Liability

We will not be held accountable for any third party loss or damage of any guest belongings. However we will help in any way possible to rectify the issue.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

We will cooperate fully with local and international police and divulge any information that they require.

While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on the Websites, it may not always be accurate, so please contact us direct if you have any queries.
